Degrassi The Boiling Point:Because Teen Nick only seems to air advertising Proactiv, Education Con-NEC-Shean and its own programming, I saw the promo for Degrassi: Boiling point several times more than I want to admit. In my defense, they play each episode Degrassi ever in preparation for the new season. This means that the rape Paige, abortion Manny, an eating disorder, Emma, shooting, the drug problem Craig, etc. How could I not watch?Of course, going through these old episodes just makes me miss Paige, Marco, Jimmy, and Craig, but to be fair, the younger children to school Degrassi community know how to cook up a good scene, too: last season we got crystal meth use, a vampire fantasy morning-after pill, and scare HPV. Therefore, even if I miss the originals, I’m still counting hours before new episodes of my favorite guilty, not so secret pleasure, thanks to deliciously dramatic trailer: the mysterious new students! Little Claire gets fashionable hairstyles (and, possibly, a new love interest?)! Riley becomes comfortable with the PDA! Fiona clap! School goes into Lockdown! Oh, Canada.
Everything starts tonight with a 2-hour premiere, Degrassi Takes Manhattan: The Heat Is On, where our beloved land of Canadians in our fair city for the summer to remember. (Check out an exclusive clip that uses the EW cameo in Jay Manuel ANTM.) And now, when I saw more promo episode today, there is a whole new reason to set in.
For those of you who are not regular viewers, the last two people to kiss are the brother and sister. Yes, it would mean, today we get a big serving of incest (Degrassi: He goes there). Declan and Fiona has always seemed terribly close, so I am happy to show exploring what viewers have been thinking for some time. But this episode still gets tag EWWWWW.com because of the huge ick factor. This is the most shocking plot Degrassi yet?
